A month has passed, it's time for another try - much better! (i managed to get closer to the balance)
New (NOS) mig welder - TIP 150 german mig/mag welder - 150A with NO cooling fan from factory!
The gun is a used 240A - 4 meter long (manufactured in Germany as well); i have to fix the rubber insulation.

The welder is modified (this is how i got it...i will go further with the mods); it has 6 taps (steps) instead of the original 4. 
I will try to improve the wire drive power feeding system (it already has a separate transformer, but i will upgrade the schematic at a certain point) and i will increase selectivity of the taps voltages by using a 2kW transformer that has 10V steps (i found it by coincidence and bought it right away).
The ground wire is upgraded to a 5m long 25mmp cable.
