Tropical Cyclone Grant was a cyclone that struck northern Australia as a Tropical Storm (SSHS).
Grant caused some flooding, stranding a number of people and derailing a train. The storm became a remnant low over northern Australia before re-emerging over the Gulf of Carpentaria, where it was expected to restrengthen, but that didn't come to fruition and it dissipated shortly after hitting the Cape York Peninsula.
