Rinpoche spoke about depression, but when you think of benefiting others then the depression goes away. Then Rinpoche talked extensively on emptiness. You are empty, your action is empty, object of your action is empty, but of course you can’t see that, unless those who meditate. There is no real birth, there is no real death, as it appeared to our hallucinated mind, as we believe. You have to meditate, all the time, the meditation on emptiness, it is not just kind of one second, kind of a few minutes. It needs the whole life. Day and night, we have to live the life in that, mindfulness sitting, walking, busy life, but mind in meditation, whatever you are doing, singing or dancing, but the mind in meditation, mindfulness, the illusion. All these real things are illusion, looking at it as illusion, as it is illusion. Looking at it as empty, as it is empty, the truth. Then Rinpoche explained how even depression comes from wrong concept and how we can think when depressed.
