So, here we are, last day of my hol. Starting off with a nice view of the bay in Penzance, with an empty hst arriving from the yard, to form the 1047 to Paddington (1A85) which I left on, and decided to jump off at Bodmin and use my rover on the FGW run bus service to Padstow.
As you can see, tide was right out when I got there, leaving all the boats on the floor. Few shots of the area before lunch - noticed it wasn't just me having fish for lunch! Went to Rick Stein's Chippy, all I can say is great value for money, one of the best fish and chips meals I've ever had. Filled up, it was back to Bodmin on the bus.

Few shots at the station, then got the next up hst which was the 1721 (1A94) up to Reading, the home stretch. Few more bits of footage on the way, including a glancing look at Laira, and full unbroken footage from Teignmouth to Dawlish Warren (sorry about the wind noise!).

Arrived into Reading about 20 mins late, due to trouble with the track circuit near Taunton. Couple more bits of footage and that was that, back to reality! All in all it was a good hol, despite the rain and being ill.
If you haven't been to Devon or Cornwall, I highly recommend it, very very nice. Good enough for me to have been many times now!

Well, thanks for watching, and look out for more Spark Railography videos. ;)
