Clear round show jumping with Caroline Moore yesterday. I didn't have high expectations after the weekend, but we tried a new bit & he was actually very well behaved. The first round is "just me" - I know that I held him back far too much, after the tanking at the weekend I was expecting the same horse. The second round is after Caroline told me to let him bowl on a bit more & lengthen his stride without having him run from underneath me. I think he was better like this, as it's daft that I was making a 17.1hh horse not make the distances. I know I rode like a big ol' bag of crap, so please ignore that. I know I need to ride my corners more & get him bending so we don't lose his back end. We're working on it. I know he knocked the first fence both times, I think because it was a white pole he couldn't see it too well with the sunlight against it in the background. Thanks for watching xx
