This is just another video showing the particle trails. I found the best angle of light was nearly 180 degrees from the viewing angle. If I had to approximate, I would say the light position should be around 174 degrees. Focus the MagLite flashlight so that there is a solid spot of light up to two feet away. The flashlight can be a couple inches away from the chamber glass. Place the beam exactly parallel with the surface of the chamber for maximum illumination of the alcohol vapor. Most importantly, play around with different positions of your light source to suit your personal preference.
