People often ask how I got started in computers. I always tell them 3D..then they look at me like I'm crazy and I usually say..."nevermind, what's up with your computer today".

Anyway, I started learning programs like 3D Studio Max and Maya over 15 years ago and I was totally obsessed. I took a break from 3D to hone my IT skills. I'm re-learning CG in it's current state, so I thought I'd share some of my Projects.

This first project "The Cruzer" was a lot of fun (all my lessons are from Digital Tutors). The Cruzer is built from Nurbs and Polygonal surfaces. All the textures are procedural, meaning they are "mathematically generated", not painted (like in photoshop). Smoke Fx are particles using another procedural material. This was rendered in Mental Ray at 720P.
