ਸੰਖੇਪ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਗੁਰਦਵਾਰਾ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਸੰਤ ਘਾਟ ਸਾਹਿਬ : ਗੁਰਦਵਾਰਾ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਸੰਤ ਘਾਟ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਕਪੂਰਥਲਾ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਸੁਲਤਾਨਪੁਰ ਲੋਧੀ ਵਿਖੇ ਸਥਿਤ ਹੈ, ਇਹ ਕਾਲੀ ਬੇਈਨ ਦਰਿਆ ਦੇ ਕੰਢੇ ਤੇ ਸਥਿਤ ਹੈ, ਬੇਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਤੋਂ, ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਜੀ ਬੇਇਨ ਨਦੀ ਵਿਚ ਚਲੇ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਅਲੋਪ ਹੋ ਗਏ. ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ 3 ਦਿਨ ਬਾਅਦ ਬਾਹਰ ਆਏ, ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਸੱਚਖੰਡ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਕੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਸਤਿਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ “ਮੂਲ ਮੰਤਰ” ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜੋ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦਾ ਉਧਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ, ਸਾਰੇ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿ ਸਾਰੇ ਧਰਮ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਵਿਚ ਬਰਾਬਰ ਹਨ , ਇਸ ਅਸਥਾਨ ਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਭਗਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਧਾਰਿਆ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਇਸ ਅਸਥਾਨ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸੰਤ ਘਾਟ ਪ੍ਰਚਲਿਤ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਇਹ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੈ | ਫੇਰ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਅਸਥਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਇੱਥੋਂ ਚਾਲੇ ਪਾਏ |
