The historic win of TOYOTA GAZOO Racing at the 86th edition of the epic Le Mans 24 Hours celebrated Toyota’s long-term commitment to endurance racing. The result is a culmination of intense and determined efforts by the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing colleagues from Higashi-Fuji (Japan) and Cologne (Germany) to continually enhance its hybrid-electric technology, which allowed the team to win the 2018 Le Mans 24 Hours using 35% less fuel than in 2012, when it returned to endurance racing.
