In this video, we discuss how to get the best of both worlds, and make sales to those who are ready to buy, and build a relationship with those who would like more information by building a list.

Why should you care?

Because if you focus on making a sale to your first time visitors, you will leave a lot of money on the table long-term

What will you learn?

How to get the best of both worlds, and make sales to those who are ready to buy, and build a relationship with those who would like more information

What to do...

Most people aren't going to buy anything the first time they visit. In fact, only 3% to 5% of the people who visit your website are ready to buy from you right now. By all means make them an offer, but it always pays to have a second goal of capturing their contact information so you have a chance to build a relationship with them.

That way you get the best of both worlds - sales immediately, and the chance to make ongoing sales later on.

The best way to do both is to use a popup offering your Lead Magnet in addition to offering it on your website, and I show you some good examples in the video.

Summary...

1. Long term, you will make a lot more money if you build a relationship with your prospects before you try to sell them anything

2. Give people every opportunity to join your list on every page of your website by using optin forms and popups

3. If you make a sale, move people from the prospects list to the customer list automatically

4. Followup prospects and customers with different offers based on what they have purchased from you before
