Man this amv took pretty long...And it's actually only half the song xD. I dunno. I felt the first half was repeated int he third verse so I axed it. Aahh... Revenge. It's really sweet don't you think? Well I figured I'd go ahead and give Misa the taste of it. Afterall, after L died, Misa only ended up getting cheated on by Light! Eeh... then again I hate light, what do I care? I do care for Misa though so this was made to give my favorite little blonde ball of bouncy womanness her sweet sweet revenge. (L: Sweets?)
This amv took about 2 days to complete with me slacking a bit on some bits. But I think the storyline's pretty easy to follow with some AU elements to it (As if that wasn't obvious enough. I'm using clips from episodes long after L's gone so...lol)

Storyline:
"Somebody's gonna pass it on..."

Misa and Light have been attempting to rekindle their fallen relationship ever since she caught him and Takada sneaking around behind her back. Despite their best efforts, both eventually agree on just being friends again. But no matter how hard she tries, Misa holds a deep grudge against her old college roomie. 

After a while on the dating circuit, Misa ends up finding a potential mate in Ryuuzaki. Course unbeknowest to her, he's currently dating Takada. Despite this they keep up the affair until Misa discovers that yes, in fact, Ryuuzaki was taken the whole time...by her ex college roomie! Somehow excited, Misa arranges a meeting: Other woman to girlfriend. 

After a few glasses of wine, Misa confesses that she's been having an affair with Ryuuzaki. Stunned, Takada makes a hasty exit to the bathroom, where she confirms it before meeting Misa back for the remainder of the dinner, silent as ever. Misa pleasantly delivers the final stab into Takada's heart, repeating the same phrase she had said to Misa regarding her and Light.

"You've got competition."

Misa returns from the dinner to Light and Ryuuzaki, she admits that yes, she told Takada all about their affair despite his previous plea while on the phone with her to "Keep it secret", amazingly to Misa, he isn't upset in the slightest.

Happy that she's settled the score with Takada, Misa kisses her new boyfriend on the cheek before retreating, letting him take it all in. They both agree to be in a full on relationship, and all three form their happiness/friendship circle.

Misa finishes afterward by telling both boys one last thing. 

"Someone's gotta be the one to tell her that we got it going on."

But who...? Matsuda and Soichiro watch on the screen, just as stunned as Takada was to find out how sneaky and mean the seemingly innocent Amane girl was.
