(8 Nov 2018) Stocks in Hong Kong rose on Thursday after the US midterm elections went as expected, soothing fears of a sudden shift on trade and economic policies. The country's benchmark index, the Hang Seng was trading about one percent higher with financial analyst Francis Lun predicting it will continue to rise throughout November. Shares were up across the region with the exception of the Philippines and Sri Lanka.
