Reza's Thoughts it back this week with Arkham Asylum. My generation of gamers had grown up with shitty superhero video games, (see spiderman and..ugh...superman 64). So it was no surprise when this game came out, i overlooked it no doubt. THe trailer looked good, graphics and all, but you can only polish a turd for so long. The game received very high ratings and Arkham City was apparantly awesome, so i decided to give it a whirl. Im not a huge batman fan, but this was fun to play. I was hoping for that metaphorical hook in the gameplay that would keep me playing, we all know what it is. That one mini or boss battle, or gameplay mechanic that makes you say..fuck it..im not going to school/calling of work to play this game, Ive yet to find it.
