Pakistan is in dire straits. The entire country has been devastated by the floods sweeping across the nation. The government does not know what to do or where to start and if that wasnt enough there is a severe shortage of funds both locally and on the international front. What ever happened to the tall claims of Pakistan's ruling elite ? Where are Pakistan's political leaders? And what to make of the first world countries who claim to be Pakistan's allies? The floods aren't the only problem..as the waters settle down, new hazards await. The possible outbreak of disease and a severe food shortage being the prime ones.
