In 1984 Peter Pretorius, was left stranded in Mozambique where he witnessed horrific scenes of starvation with children dying every day around him. There he committed his future to joining the struggle to reduce hunger in Africa by establishing international humanitarian relief and development organisation Joint Aid Management. Today the organisation provides lifesaving nutritional relief to countries such as Angola, South Sudan, and Mozambique.
