Emmit is one of the rescue dogs at Dogs Deserve Better. He's an old beagle who gets overlooked when it comes to adoptions, he's got a fatty tumor on his back and who knows how long left on the planet. But that boy has charisma! And style! And a wonderful disposition that makes the entire staff and everyone who really sees him in action fall in love. He spends his entire walk in the field running along the fence line, but and tail waggling a million miles a minute, and giving his signature beagle bay with each scent of critter he tastes. He is so into his 'job' that he has to be leashed to go in, because he would stay out there all day long just exploring. If you are interested in adopting Emmit or any of our wonderful dogs at Dogs Deserve Better, visit our adoption page at http://www.dogsdeservebetter.org/adopt.html. Or call our center at 757-357-9292 and ask if Emmit is still available for adoption. To donate for our work for chained or penned dogs, visit our site at http://www.dogsdeservebetter.org. Thank you for helping us continue to free Man's Best Friend from chains and pens.
