A lot of people ask me how I got my start in this business. I got started doing musicals like this. This is a rare video of me at age 16, acting in the role of Tevye in "Fiddler on the Roof" at the J Company Children's theater in San Diego California at the Lyceum stage. The year was 1995, I was young and I was surrounded by other wonderfully young and sweet performers, some of who I'm still friends with today. The beard was real and the accent was fake. Being in musicals my whole life didn't always make me the most popular guy with the ladies, however it did make me proud of who I am and gave me the ability to do everything else I do in this business. We all have our start, this is how I got mine.
