In late November 1943, the "Big Three" -- Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Winston Churchill, and Joseph Stalin -- met in Tehran, Iran, to discuss the action that would become the D-Day invasion of Normandy, France. Keith Huxen, PhD, the Museum's Senior Director of Research and History, discusses the gathering's importance in the accompanying video. In this post -- http://bit.ly/2AEdQUv -- Dr. Huxen revisits the process that resulted in the #FDR sculpture on Founders Plaza, a popular photo spot on our campus, and how the artwork is related to the Tehran Conference. #DDay75
