http://www.thunderwizard.com Some people in Neo-Heathen and Neo-Pagan religions believe that only those of a particular ethnic background have permission to worship the gods of their religion. According to this philosophy, people of Germanic descent can worship Thor, the Thunder God. and People of Yoruba (West African) descent must worship Shango. But, the logic of this racially based philosophy begs the question: If an African and a European are in America, which god is actually causing the Thunder? If we remove the racial bias, then the logical conclusion is that the god of Thunder reveals himself to all cultures differently according to their cultural understanding.
