UFC Undisputed 3 - Renato Laranja Draft Character Demo: This is a video demo/rough draft for a new UFC Undisputed 3 character "Renato Laranja". Keep in mind that this is a VERY early version of Laranja and I will dedicate more time to get his character model to look more realistic for the game. The logos slapped on his body, are just there for testing purposes, so I can keep track of his movements and make adjustments. I made his stats and abilities as realistic as I could. Since "Renato" is not an elite professional MMA "Fighter", it stands to reason that his striking skills would not be that great against top level fighters. However, his ground game and submission skills are off the chart, as this video demonstrates. He is also decked out with the best submissions in the game, including the ability to switch to another submission, while he is already performing one. (I will be posting a highlight of these soon.) He will be available as a free character in the "Content Section" of the game, only on the PS3(for now). The match was in simulation mode, were you get pretty tired from throwing rapid strikes. The entire plan was to let the other guy gas himself out with strikes, then submitting him while he was exhausted. This really was a great fight and it shows that even a fighter that is not well rounded, can dominate and win if he is used correctly.
