I made this video of a large flock of canvasbacks several years ago. I decided to upload all of these videos for free use by waterfowl and wetland conservationists and biologists, decoy carvers, birders, and anyone with a keen interest in ducks. You may never see a flock of wild canvasbacks this close no matter how avid a hunter, birder or biologist you are. They are almost always flocked up in huge rafts way out in lakes and bays along their migration routes. Getting this close to them is almost impossible without putting them up. This is raw footage.
