Training in Indian Classical Music had laid the foundations of Trance for Bharat at an early age. Over the years, as a self taught Bass & Guitar player he made a mark playing Rock festivals across the country, ultimately discovering the hypnotic sounds of Psychedelic Trance.

The exposure to Psychedelic culture strongly affected his musical persona and as a result StarLab was born.

In a short span of time, he has played some of the biggest venues and festivals in India and California, United States alongside the likes of The Riddler/Talpa, Talamasca, 1200 Mics, Neuromotor, Chicane amongst others. He also has his own monthly podcast on Radio Schizoid, mixing the latest and best in Progressive Psytrance (http://www.schizoid.in/). His mixes have been very well received by listeners around the world.

Influenced by the sound of labels like Iono Music, TesseracTstudio, Blue Tunes, Echoes, Iboga, YSE, Ovnimoon, HOMmega etc. he strives to bring forward powerful and meaningful day time psychedelic dance music.

Bharat has been an integral part of the rapidly progressing Indian Independent Music scene for over a decade now with his past projects featured in iconic magazines such as Rolling Stone and a nomination for 'Best Bass Player' in Jack Daniels Indian Rock Awards.

StarLab's first single is soon to be released on Ovnimoon Records, Chile and is preparing to release his EP later this year... http://soundcloud.com/starlab-sounds http://www.facebook.com/starlabsounds http://www.myspace.com/untilthereislight http://www.last.fm/music/Until+There+Is+Light http://www.youtube.com/user/bbindal/videos http://www.mixcloud.com/starlab http://dj.beatport.com/starlab https://www.facebook.com/bbindal Bookings contact: [email protected]
