I had a peek at a guide for Xenogears and it mentioned this battle is basically impossible to lose unless you want to see what happens if you do.

You all know me-- seeing those words is enough to get me to do just about anything to see the truth behind something. And so I did.

Using Booster over and over, even when you have no fuel, means you are not guarding as you are when just Charging. It also prevents any misclicks on Attack because you have no fuel.

Surprised the devs actually bothered to animate the low on HP and KO'd animations for Bart's Gear in this.
