Anne-Marie see's art as a way of expressing and evoking emotions and ideas. However, if there was no art, how would we keep evolving, challenging and learning as humans? To her, art is freedom of speech; art is a means for communicating. If there was no art, how would we communicate? Art is everywhere; we just need to start opening our eyes and minds to it. Anne-Marie is an Anglo-Dutch illustrator/designer who's inspirations come from everyday life, travelling, art and interaction/relations with others and is therefore open to all kinds of assignments and projects. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
