Shiv Swarajya Pratisthan Delhi Organises 'Uttar Hindustan kriryagata Maitri Abhiyan' in National Capital! New Delhi: To mark 351 years of Chhatrapati Shivaji's Historic escape from Agra. Shiv Swarajya Pratisthan Delhi organised a Programme, 'Uttar Hindustan kriryagata Maitri Abhiyan' at New Maharashtra Sadan, New Delhi. The Programme objective was to show Gratitude towards North Indians who contributed in Chhatrapati Shivaji’s miraculous escape from Aurangzeb’s court in agra. The Programme was graced by, Union Commerce and Industry Minister, Suresh Prabhu, Sambhaji Raje, Rajya Sabha MP and descendant of Chhatrapati Shivaji, RSS Leader, Indresh Kumara and Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha MP's. Speaking on the occasion, Commerce Minister Suresh Prabhu, said, "If we go different places in India. With the language barriers we are not able to Communicate. But with the tradition we have we are close to each other. We all are proud Indians. Chhatrapati Shivaji is one of the examples India have seen in the history, who was extremely secular and opposed to religion conversion practices. The fact that proves his love for all religions is he included many Muslims in his military and their position was strong." Speaking to Ten News Exclusively about the Programme, Rajya Sabha MP, Sambhaji Raje said, "How Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj had escaped from Agra it has been 351 years now. All the North Indians who helped Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj this programme is being held to Thank them for their Contributions. Shivaji Maharaj Dynasty, Shivaji Maharaj Personality we want to make that thing popular amongst North Indians that's we have organized this programme." Rahul Shewale, Lok Sabha MP said, "Shivaji was on a spree, annexing empires, and had taken over most of India. The Mughals on the other hand were threatened, as he was proving to be invincible. They were constantly devising methods to defeat and capture him. Shivaji’s miraculous escape from agra left everyone spellbound." Chhatrapati Sambhaji Raje, Personal Secretary, Yogesh Kedar, said, "Shivaji Maharaj is known as Father of Indian navy , He fought with Siddis - Britishers & dutch with his own naval forces.Chhatrapati Shivaji was one of the bravest, most progressive and sensible rulers of India." Dr. Anil Jain, Rajya Sabha MP, said, "If Shivaji Maharaj was born in Maharashtra or somewhere else. He was and he is the Pride of India. He always believed in Hindu tradition we all get goosebumps after hearing his name only." RSS Leader, Indresh Kumar said, "At a time when all kingdoms were strictly sticking to their religious beliefs and doing away with others', Shivaji was surprisingly very accommodating of all religions. As opposed to the common belief of him being a king of Hindu origin who fought Muslims. He fought other rulers, not religions, who threatened his kingdom." Talking to Ten News, The Organiser of the Programme, Pravin Patil said, "Chhatrapati Shivaji was from Maharashtra as we all know, to mark the 351 years of Chhatrapati Shivaji's Miraculous escape from Agra and North Indians have helped a lot in escaping of Shivaji. So 151 youth from Maharashtra on motorcycle are on journey from Raigad to Raigad to show Gratitude towards the north Indians."
