Our good friend and regular contributor, Leonardo Gonnelli, is back on board for his fifth EP of 2018. Our Florentine brother, has been a tear this year dropping a bunch of standout releases on Deeperfect. and, we are pleased that he is back! This time he has company on the release, as it is a collaboration with one of the most talented active Italian house producers Dani Vescovi. Founder of the main Italian underground movements: the JUICE, whose boast is to have introduced some most important artists of the scene. These guys are representing the cream of the crop from the scene in Florence, and we are delighted to have them on board with the stunning Riffprog EP. The title track 'Riffprog' is a pumping club burner that is sure to please fans of the Minimal / Deep Tech sound. The track operates around a pushing low end that is perfectly balanced with an intricate, tribal edged bed of hats and percussion. Drum delays and subtle synth hits create a deep atmospheric vibe which is complemented to perfection with a contemporary male vocal that pumps up the energy and creates a dynamic dancefloor moment everytime it comes to the forefront of the track. Up next is a heavy groover named ‘Nosa’. This track uses heavy fx swells and pitched vocal builds bring excitement and tension which releases back to the pumping main groove. It is definitely a track to turn the heat up on the dancefloor and get the crowd going wild!
