2MChZ 5498 movement rattrapante mechanism problem

This video illustrates the issue which presented itself when I received the stopwatch.  When the rattrapante is engaged the split hand stops as it should.  However when the mechanism is released the hand does not smoothly return.  This is an issue caused by drag in the mechanism.  This is an indication that the mechanism is dirty or improperly lubricated.
