UPDATE: no trace of this on the Internet, my best guess is that this was a "private" show. There were other fireworks down the Waikiki on Tuesday as well. One guess (see the comments) is that this could have had something to do with Hawaii Five-O. Honolulu is full of events. For example, there are Waikiki fireworks every Friday, and in fact Dr Very Evil has uploaded a video of them just few days ago, but this Monday, while in our apartment near the Honolulu Zoo, around 9 p.m. we were surprised by special fireworks (still don't know what was the occasion was, will check) much closer to where we live (looked like very near Kuhio Beach Park).
