For Mother's Day I wanted to combine something my mom loves with something I love.  Mama Mia is my mom's favorite musical and this song always makes her cry.  Unfortunately, there isn't really anything on mother-daughter relationships on My Little Pony.  Then I thought of Rarity and Sweetie Belle and Applejack and Apple Bloom.  While they are sister relationships, they sort of reflect the relationship I have with my mother.  She teaches me how to do the chores and is still teaching me to cook, and she wants me to act more ladylike.  And I like spending time with her and doing nice things from her now and then, even if she has mixed feelings about them.  Also, if you think about it, on Mother's Day we celebrate the older female figures in our lives (and Rarity kind of acts like a mom).  Well, even if this doesn't make sense for Mother's Day, I thought this song really fit these two pairs of sisters.
