1984 के सिख विरोधी दंगे के दिल्ली कैंट के मामले में दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट की डबल बेंच ने बड़ा फैसला दिया है. कोर्ट ने निचली अदालत का फैसला पलट दिया. कोर्ट ने कांग्रेस नेता सज्जन कुमार को दोषी करार दिया है. सज्जन कुमार को उम्रकैद की सजा और पांच लाख रुपए का जुर्माना लगाया है. निचली अदालत ने सज्जन कुमार को बरी कर दिया था. फैसला जस्टिस एस. मुरलीधर और विनोद गोयल ने सुनाया है. सज्जन कुमार को हत्या, साजिश, दंगा भड़काने और भड़काऊ भाषण देने का दोषी पाया गया. कुमार को 31 दिसंबर तक सरेंडर करना होगा और तब तक वह दिल्ली नहीं छोड़ सकते.
