Back in the year 1972, when Queen wasn't yet formed as a band, a guy at Trident Studios wanted to release a single for a musical project. He chose the song Goin' Back by Carole King, which was by then a hit by Dusty Springfield.
He asked one Freddie Mercury (then Freddie Bulsara) to sing it for him, and he in turn suggested some dudes named Brian May and Roger Taylor to add guitar, drums and vocals. But, of course, this was pre-Queen, so they didn't have a formal name to call themselves, and they chose Larry Lurex as a crossing between Gary Glitter and the yarn brand Lurex.
The song was released along with a Beach Boys hit: "I can hear music", and it didn't had that much success. Nonetheless, the song is awesome and I wanted to cover it, so I did. So sue me.
