This was actually something I had stuck in my head for awhile. I've been playing a lot of Fire Emblem lately too so I guess that contributed to the need to draw a magical lady. Also if you look closely at the end of the video where it shows the full image, you can see my friends' dnd characters standing before her.

I wanted to work on things that I don't normally do (like long flowy hair, metal reflections, water and jewelry) and I think it turned out alright.

It's been awhile since I posted an original piece of artwork. sorry for those of you who only came to see my aphmau art but lately I just haven't been interested in her content

Like, some of her characters are really charming and appeal to me still, but I just don't have the motivation to draw something of hers right now. I want to branch out and draw more than just aphmau my dudes.

Drawing aphmau stuff has been like eating the same vanilla cake for two years in a row. Eventually you begin to tire of it. I'm not saying I'm never going to draw aphmau stuff ever again, but I will say that I want to draw more than just that one series. My mind is a fickle binch.

Well, to put an end to this wall of text--

Hope you enjoy this painting of a water lady I made. Hope you had a happy holidays and an even happier New Years!
