Beiteddine Palace, (or Bayt ad Din), was built in the early 19th century for the Ottoman governor of Lebanon. It is now a residence for the Lebanese President. The restored stables contains an extensive collection of Byzantine mosaics. I fimed this in December 2010. www.traveltalesandnotes.blogspot.com.
