It started through basketball when Mike MacIntyre knew he wanted to marry Trisha. That bond sparked a marriage years later, and though football became the focus down the road for him, it created a special bond in its own right. MacIntyre went on to play safety under his father at Vanderbilt, and now he shares a similar moment as his son, Jay, plays for him at Colorado.
