Sonic joins me once again for what is my first guitar cover from one of his games in nearly 4 years. I stopped playing electric guitar during that period and transitioned to solely fingerstyle acoustic, but I finally restrung my electric guitar (4 year old strings are terrifying by the way) and I'm interested in it again. Still want a new amp for obvious reasons. Speaking of restringing, I had no spare 2nd string so I used a 1st string in its place. Ironically it's an even lighter gauge than the one I put on the 1st string. Plays horribly and if I'm slightly sharp in places that's why. Haha I need stop by Sam Ash. It's not perfect, but I'm pretty pleased. Especially considering I didn't get any sleep last night. I'd like to do a big project with this song recording more instruments like bass and keyboard since I love it to death, but for now this is what I'm putting out. This song is pretty tough! I tried my best to replicate the vibrato and my bends are pretty accurate. The hardest part is playing it all in time, which I think I did a decent job with too. If anyone really wants it I could make some tabs; I figured it out by ear. Haven't forgotten I promised a tutorial for Live and Learn. Sorry it's taken me so long to get to it. Thanks for all the support you guys have given my Sonic videos, everyone! (Now check out my cover of Cold Day by Antoine Dufour, it's the greatest thing I've ever recorded and I'm sad it doesn't have many views ;_; )
