Just a quick video I threw together showing how a properly balanced gimbal head should work. It maintains orientation regardless of angle or rotation, and despite weighing near 14 pounds (6.3kg) it moves effortlessly! Oh, and in case you're wondering, this is a Nikon D500 with a 400mm f/2.8G VR lens and also a Nikon TC20EIII with a TC14EII in the mix as well, giving an effective focal length of 1680mm! Ready for the super moon (if I don't get clouded out!) :D
