Texas prosecutor Linda Geffin helped win Duane Buck's conviction for the 1995 murder of his former girlfriend Debra Gardner and her friend Kenneth Butler. But now Geffin is campaigning for Buck's death sentence to be commuted over concerns around the testimony of a state psychologist who told jurors that African-American criminals are more likely to pose a future danger to the public. Geffin says Buck should receive a "color blind" resentencing in Harris Country, the "death penalty capital of the world."
