It's just amazing how musical memory works. I ran across this absolute gem of a song from Keys to Acension on YouTube earlier today (just cannot believe the album is discontinued in Canada, considering some of the rubbish being made these days! ), hadn't played it since 2001 when my old cassette player finally died but decided to play along just for kicks, and had the vidcam set up so decided to tape myself to see how much of it I remembered. I was actually very surprised how well I did remember it, particularly the vocals, even if there are some very rusty spots in the middle of the song on bass. Definitely gonna redo this one in the near future after a few more run-throughs, but what you'e watching is a first take from memory after 8 years without even hearing the thing. I think this one's gonna ROCK once I iron out the kinks! Stay tuned!
