As soon as the chapter starts we get access to the True Dragon Sword, which automatically bumps it up to level 4. This makes it one of, if not the best weapon in Ryu's arsenal. Also Ayane decided to stop cosplaying so she's in her normal outfit.

You'll notice we're running around in the Chapter 2 area again. It's got some of the same old enemy ninjas like before, but it's also got some of the fiends we've encountered before infesting the area now too. I guess the Dragon Ninja Clan doesn't even bother repairing their village until Ryu comes back because they know it'll just get attacked again. Good call.

6:34 - Two Tengus - The two Tengus are alive again because...uh...reasons? Nothing about them has changed from Momiji's chapter, except Ryu can absolutely tear through them with his SSST combo. One hit with the triangle attack in that combo will drain a huge chuck of their HP. One of the Tengus will leave when its HP drops to about 40%, but the other will fight to the death.

9:42 - Two Shadow Ninjas - These guys aren't treated as bosses, but they're actually harder than the two Tengus. This is because the Shadow Ninjas don't have any "back off while the other is fighting" AI, so they both just come at you at full force. These guys took me a few attempts to get past, but it all comes down to just being good at the game and predicting the enemy's attacks.

After those two, we find a journal that mentions Nobunaga Oda made a deal with Shunden Hayabusa to create the Castle of the Dragon. I'm preeeeetty sure this was retconned considering Nobunaga makes no mention of it in WO3 and in Nioh it's Jin Hayabusa who is around during the Sengoku Period, not this Shuden guy. Still, neat bit of trivia.

About 30 minutes into the chapter, Muramasa will stop by to give us his one of a kind healing item which heals everything to max. Nice, but I swear I've never actually used this damn item. It triggers the "too good to use" mentality I have from JRPGs and I never struggled enough I ever had to blow through ALL of my healing items at once. After that we'll make our way to Mt. Fuji for some new scenery. We'll have a tooon of ninjas to fight there.

39:07 - Red Tengu - This could actually be the Blue Tengu, if you damaged him below 40% first and caused him to retreat instead. Anyways he drops down with a few ninjas to replace his brother. Nothing to add here, just beat him down for the 4th time and move on.

42:57 - Genshin 3 - Here we fight Genshin once more. Unfortunately he made a critical error in challenging us now, because we now have the level 4 Dragon Sword. Which means we can use the SSST combo. Which means Genshin is going to get absolutely wrecked by this combo while offering up little resistance. With this golden combo all you have to do is be good enough to dodge his enhanced attacks and wail on him. He's got a few more hits to his combos, is generally more aggressive, and I believe he now has access to his grabs I never actually saw in this battle. He kind of died too fast for me to really examine his moveset.

Unlike other enemies *cough*Zedonius*cough*, Genshin actually has a predictable pattern when it comes to dodging and blocking. After landing a successful combo, he is guaranteed to deflect the next attack and stop your assault dead. Which isn't an issue when you see it coming and can respond accordingly. Then after he deflects he's almost guaranteed to be hit by the next combo, assuming you don't try it during the middle of one of his own combos which will always take priority over yours. His dodging is a bit more random, but if you let him take the first move and get close, then punish him, it won't be an issue. I've played this game so much this is the one guy I guess I'll never forget how to fight.
