Gloving up Progression, Dryland fanny pack with walking variation This is the third in the Gloving up Progression drills. (Aquatics International, "Back to Basics", February 2013) Guidelines: Gloves are in fanny pack which is zipped shut Starting line will be 20 feet away. All members of your lifeguard team must cross the finish line and have their gloves completely on; hands in the air when finished. You'll have 15 seconds to do this. Once your team becomes proficient at this time, move to 12 seconds. This is an all pass drill, meaning all lifeguards must complete the drill for the lifeguard team to receive a pass. A 6-12 lifeguard team is preferred. Depending on size of staff, modify to accomodate needs.
