This is an improved rotor design for the Stubblefield coil.  It is based on one by LaserSaber that he showed in his last video.  The rotor in my setup is suspended from a steel needle by using a small neo magnet attached to the top of the rotor. The lightness of the rotor allowed this.  The result is that the rotor spins very freely.
