Yesterday, Anthony was lucky enough to go out into the field with a citizen-scientist to track North American Wood Turtles (Glyptemys insculpta) and Eastern Box Turtles (Terrapene carolina carolina). This video is a brief account of their success during the Eastern Box Turtle portion of their adventure. Detailed location data was taken on each specimen that was encountered, and turtles were left alone to reduce the risk of stress.
