-------------------------

We've covered:
Kei hea te .... ? Where is the ...*single item*
Kei hea ngā....? Where are the ...*multiple items*
Kei hea a ....? Where is ...*persons name*
What about:
Where is MY car?
Where is YOUR phone?
Where is HIS/HER hat?
Taku - My
Tō - Your
Tana - His/her
Kei hea TAKU waka - where is my car?
Kei hea TŌ waea pūkoro - where is your phone?
Kei hea TANA pōtae - where is his/her hat?
.
.
.
We can still use the runga/raro/mua/muri/roto/waho words to describe where those objects are.
Kei hea taku waka? Where is my car?
Kei waho - outside
.
.
.
.
.
Now, consider this...if you use:
Kei hea te
Kei hea ngā
Kei hea taku
Kei hea tō
Kei hea tana
Everyone time you put a new word on the end, you have another FIVE new learned sentences.
So using the above structure, combined with just 10 objects, you can create 50 new sentences .....
AND HERE'S A LITTLE BONUS....are you ready???
***WHISPERS***
If you drop the "t" from taku, tō and tana (to create aku, ō and ana) they all become plural sentences, just like using ngā instead of te
So now you've got:
Kei hea te
Kei hea ngā
Kei hea taku
Kei hea aku
Kei hea tō
Kei hea ō
Kei hea tana
Kei hea ana
WOW - now you've got a formula that generates EIGHT new sentences for every object you learn!
.
.
.
.
.THE GEOMETRIC PROGRESSION OF LANGUAGE USING SENTENCE STRUCTURES IS A BEAUTIFUL (AND ACCELERATING) THING
