It's like a shooting gallery, but without the ducks!

You wanted to see some actual shooting, right? Well, here ya go! (heh)

Hart Attack
--------
At the end of TimeSplitters 2, I think Corporal Hart was the lady manning the Time Machine for you... Anyway, this challenge only focuses on TIME spent; it does not matter where you hit the target. So go crazy with that itchy trigger finger of yours! Just don't shoot any bald guys, dig? There is a time limit, but it's no big deal; if you're having trouble getting the targets, take it SLOW. Memorize where they pop up, set your sights there, and blast 'em away!

(1:47) Come Hell or High Water
----------
This is the hardest one by far. You'll be tearing your hair out! You have no control where you go, you're just able to look around. So, every run will have the targets popping up in EXACTLY the same places, at EXACTLY the same time. Now, you may think this would make it easier, but... it really doesn't help if the spots they pop up in are totally out of reach and hard to get at! Fortunately, there's only one area like this. Also, since it IS exactly the same, learning by repitition is a lot easier.

Anyway, in this one, it does not matter how long you take to shoot a target as long as you get it before it cuts outta there - It's all on accuracy. How they measure this... is weird. You'd think a head shot would be best, right? Nope. You want to aim to as close to the middle of the middle of the board as possible. The middle vertical is a lot less forgiving than the horizontal, mind. To illustrate: Take a look at the lady-demon. The sweet spot is pretty much where her butt is (shush, you!). Seriously, they encourage you to shoot a lady in the rear - the monsters! If you're more of a gentleman, though, you can plug her about as high as the waist, and as low as the thigh. The sides are pretty forgiving, so you can shoot off into the blue area and still make full marks!

Moving along...

Hint: USE THE SCOPE, DOPE!
You might think I say this because it's easier to see the target, right? Wrong. It's because of how danged sensitive the control stick that aims (moves the reticule) is. You notice that I move it in "twitches"? That's because it's REALLY hard to get smooth/slow movement out of it, so you just hope that any given twitch will put your target in sights, or you resort to shooting mid-twitch. It sounds stupid, and it sorta is, but for whatever reason it doesn't seem that bad in normal play. Anyway... when you aren't using a scope, any given twitch can cover a decent distance; when scoped, any give twitch covers a lot LESS distance (which is totally against typical zoomed in/out conventions). THAT'S why you use the scope.

(2:56) Oh, the hard part: It's right after the ogre hiding in the doorway, you round the bend and have to shoot two demons up in windows while the boat is rotating left AND then swing down to hit the lady popping around a corner QUICKLY before the angle gets too sharp. I may make it look easy, but it ISN'T. This was a PAIN. Not only is the boat moving in a bad way, the crossbars on the windows BLOCK incoming bullets and you're aiming from a sharp angle below making hitting the middle a lot trickier.

Go ahead, have a try yourself, if you've got the game, and try to tell me differently!

(4:07) Balls Of Steel
---------
Whew! A lot of text in that last one. I'll let you guys off this time around, since this last one is pretty easy. Just use the zoom on the sniper rifle to your advantage and memorize where those robots pop up. Oh, one pointer: Aim lower than you think you have to. Most times the lower parts of the board are hidden, so you may think you're on the mark, but you're not!
