Subaru has brought its award-winning Eyesight Advanced Driver Assist system to Malaysia in the Outback. The technology's not coming cheap, with the Outback's price now raised from RM239k to RM245k, but we wonder if it's a pre-cursor to a possible introduction in the XV? Unlike most Advanced Driver Assist systems in the market, Subaru Eyesight does not employ the use of radar and is fully dependent on its pair of stereoscopic cameras to perceive road conditions ahead. Its basic operating principle is similar to the A.S.A. system used in the Perodua Myvi: https://www.carlist.my/news/perodua-myvi-d20n-asa-what-it-can-and-cannot-do/48365/ Also watch: - Perodua Myvi D20N A.S.A.: Great to have, but know its limitations: https://youtu.be/STCUofV45G4 Subscribe after watching and give us a like at www.facebook.com/aurizn.
