Bolton Valley Ice storm Outing

On December 23, 2013 Vermont and New England suffered some fall thaw and eventually an ice storm which knocked out power in many areas and left an inch or more of ice on wires, cars and anything not moving. Instead of moaning about not skiing, we made a fun day out of it by letting our kids take fun of the bunny hills at Bolton Valley; giving our daughter a great opportunity to get used to her new and longer skis. Hard to think, in less than 3 months she would be doing her 1st ever slalom at Bolton Valley in March 2014 - see "The Silly Slalom".
