Longtail speed boat down the Mekong

We took the speed boat down the Mekong from the Thai border to Luang Prabang in Laos. It's not recommended by the Lonely Planet, but we did not want to waste time on the slow boat, that takes two days. It takes about 5 hrs of mainly flat out driving. The boats are little more than a surf board with a car engine bolted on the back! Good fun!! ;-)
