Greg Tate, Burnt Sugar the Arkestra Chamber, performance artist Aisha Cousins and director Letitia Guillory's collaboration this past January led to two BRIC Studio/Brooklyn, NY sold-out performances of Brer Rabbit: The Opera - A Funky Meditation on Gentrification. Rebellum, Burnt Sugar Arkestra's avant funk & roll splinter cell, performs music from Brer Rabbit along with new Burnt Sugar Arkestra selections from their yet-to-be-released DVD, Black from the Abyss.
