TVG, while airing over 50,000 races a year, also strives to bring attention to key segments of the racing industry. In 2017, TVG visited and brought exposure to numerous breeding operations in Kentucky such as Darley and Ashford Stud, and provided extensive coverage of the Keeneland sales. TVG aired the Jockey Club Racing Roundtable, highlighted top grooms each week with the Al Basti Best Turned Out Award and showcased the jockey of the week. On the racing front, the network expanded its on-site coverage at the Saratoga and Del Mar summer meets and spent a full week at Gulfstream Park leading up to the inaugural Pegasus World Cup. On the international front, TVG broadened its footprint, going on-site at Royal Ascot, the Dubai World Cup, Royal Randwick and the Everest Cup.
