My introductory lesson to pulling off.  First we play the fretted 1st string and follow with a pull off.  The next beat is the 1st string open, followed by an optional thumb.  Next, we simply change the target string on the 1st beat, so we hit the 3rd string open, followed by the same 1st string pull off and an open first string on the next beat.  You'll note the left hand does _exactly_ the same thing, regardless of which string(s) the right hand hits...  gDGBD
